Fir Honey 480g Melioutopia

Fir honey is not collected from flowers, but from a honeydew produced by microorganisms on the trunk of the fir tree. Bees then collect this honeydew (resin) from the fir trees and produce honey. A thick honey, with a characteristic reddish color. Fir honey is special mainly because of its low glucose content, thanks to which it never crystallizes. It has a neutral aroma and spicy taste. It is collected from the mountains of Peloponnese (Erymanthos, Helmos, Mainalo, Panachaiko).
