The Hermes rice variety is long-grained, aromatic and its main characteristic is the red color. It comes from Italy, from a cross between Venus black rice and a long grain rice, Indica type. The outer part of the grain is very rich in red anthocyanins, natural pigments with antioxidant action, which give this characteristic color to the rice grain. It is a very digestible rice, with no gluten, rich in fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals. It is the ideal ingredient for appetizers, mainly dishes, light meals, soups, salads and it goes well with vegetables.
